As the years pass and new ones begin, we bid farewell to the unforgettable year of 2022 amidst the strong atmosphere of implementing the spirit of the 20th National Congress of the Communist Party of China. Looking back on the past year, the Group has worked together with determination, correctly addressing international situations, pandemic conditions, and raw material trends. We have seized opportunities in times of crisis, sought business opportunities, and grasped strategic moments. We have improved quality, promoted the market, and strictly managed our operations, driving steady, continuous, healthy, and high-quality development of our company. As we welcome the new year, I extend my New Year's blessings and sincere gratitude to all leaders, scholars, sales partners, suppliers, contractors, friends from all sectors of society, and all members of the group and their families for their care and support for GGOG's development.
In 2022,the GGOG focused on its core business, upgraded professional capabilities, coordinated land and sea resources, and pursued high-quality development. We centered around the implementation of the national strategy of 'Developing the Ocean,' fully building the 'Two Parks and One Base.' This has further established the world's first integrated industrial park in our industry that simultaneously produces alginate, carrageenan, and agar from brown and red algae. We completed the construction of the Marine Biopharmaceutical Science Park and the Ling Mountain Bay 'National Marine Ranch' Innovation Demonstration Base, achieving synchronous growth in speed, efficiency, and potential.
Reflecting on 2022, the following ten highlights stand out:
1. Actively responding to rebounding pandemics, our main business of alginate and carrageenan achieved record-high performance.
2. The pace of industrialization of high-tech products such as algal polysaccharide drug capsules accelerated, with breakthroughs in targeted release technology.
3. Jointly with the Sea Control Group, we built the Marine Biopharmaceutical Science Park, which saw the commissioning of its first phase.
4. Together with Huangfa Group, we co-hosted the signing ceremony for strategic cooperation in 'research, production, and application' among major institutes and enterprises towards marine development, launching the 'Ling Mountain Bay Marine Industry Technology Synergy Innovation Exchange Center,' forming a modern marine upgrade version.
5. GGOG was recognized as a 'Specialized, Refined, Unique, and Innovative' SME in Shandong Province.
6.GGOG made it into the top 100 innovative private enterprises in Shandong Province, the top 10 leading enterprises in the modern marine industry in Shandong Province, and the top 100 private enterprises in Qingdao in 2022.
7. GGOG was selected as one of the leading benchmark private enterprises in Qingdao in 2022 and a candidate for the next generation of 'Qingdao Gold Flowers.'
8. GGOG was awarded the title of 'Qingdao May Day Labor Medal' by the Qingdao Municipal Trade Union.
9. The PolyOcean Marine Science Popularization Exhibition Center was granted the title of Science Education Base of West Coast New Area and Qingdao City in 2022.
10. The Chairman of the Group was honored with the Shandong Province May Day Labor Medal by the Shandong Provincial Trade Union; and the title of 'Most Beautiful Person in West Coast New Area in 2021' by the Spiritual Civilization Construction Committee of Qingdao West Coast New Area.
With the dawn of a new era, we welcome the inspiring year of 2023 as we sound the call for the comprehensive construction of a socialist modern country. In the new year, we will fully implement the spirit of the 20th National Congress of the Communist Party of China, keep pace with the new era, embark on a new journey, and continue to create new achievements.
