As International Workers' Day approaches, GGOG has organized a series of celebratory activities. On the morning of April 27th, a symposium for retired employees and representatives of new and old employees to celebrate May Day with the theme of "Mentoring, Passing on the Torch" was held in the conference room on the 15th floor of the Science and Technology Park. Nearly 50 representatives gathered together.
The meeting commenced in a warm atmosphere with the playing of the company's promotional video, and all the attendees jointly reviewed the development history of GGOG.
The Chairman of the Board delivered a speech first. Taking the framework of "four decades" as a basis, he comprehensively reviewed the development of GGOG and looked ahead to its future. From 2001 to 2010, it was the initial establishment stage of the company. The company went through the path from rural areas to cities and then to internationalization, achieving the initial capital accumulation. From 2011 to 2020, it was the growth stage of the company. The products were upgraded from industrial grade to food grade and then to biomedical grade, forming an "all-in-one" full industrial chain development model. From 2021 to 2030, it is the development stage of the company. The company will precisely focus its efforts and further strengthen the new productive forces around the implementation of high-tech products such as seaweed oligosaccharides and seaweed capsules to achieve high-quality development. From 2031 to 2040, it will be the expansion stage of the company. Through the unremitting efforts of two generations, the company will strive to become a world-class transnational group in marine biomedicine with strong professionalism, internationalization, and a sense of the times.
At the symposium, the founders of the company, representatives of retired employees, representatives of old employees, and representatives of new employees all spoke freely and expressed their opinions. The representatives of retired employees shared their growth stories in combination with their own career experiences. The sharing of these valuable experiences not only passed on the wisdom of the predecessors but also demonstrated their boundless love and loyalty to the company. In the dialogue session between new and old employees, the representatives of new employees expressed their love for the company and their outlook on future work. The old employees shared their valuable experiences, encouraging new employees to focus on learning, dare to challenge, be bold in innovation, and closely link their personal dreams with the development of the company.
At the end of the event, all the participants jointly recited the corporate culture, expressing their determination to carry it forward.
This event aims to inherit the spirit of craftsmanship, inspire the new generation of employees to keep striving, inject new vitality into the future development of the company, and work hard to achieve the company's goals of developing into a transnational group and building a century-old foundation.
In the afternoon, the company held a theme speech contest with the theme of "Labor is Glorious, Youth has No Regrets" to celebrate May Day in the staff activity room on the 12th floor of the Science and Technology Park. Eleven contestants from various departments, workshops, and subsidiaries enthusiastically signed up to participate, and six main leaders of the company served as the judges for this competition. All the contestants took the stage, making a wonderful appearance. They were full of energy and passion, showcasing a good mental outlook.
After the fair evaluation and scoring by the judges, 2 first prizes, 2 second prizes, 3 third prizes, and several participation prizes were determined. The main leaders of the company on site presented honorary certificates and prizes to the winning contestants.
Wu Shipeng, a director of the group, presented awards to the first-prize winners (Sun Xiulian from the Juhong Workshop and Liu Xiaoyan from the Supply Department).
Wu Nianxi, the General Manager of the group, presented awards to the second-prize winners (Gu Lina from the Comprehensive Management Department, Zhang Hui from the Human Resources Department, Zhuang Lixiang from the Marine Development Department, and Gao Miaomiao from the Administrative Affairs Department).
Wu Bo, the Executive Deputy General Manager of the group, presented awards to the third-prize winners (Xu Xin, Liu Yunjian from the R&D Department, Yin Chongdi, and Ai Di from Shenghai Company).
Cheng Yuemo, the Deputy General Manager of the group, presented awards to the participants who won the participation prizes (Ding Xingang from the Red Algae Gum Workshop, Jiang Haodong from Dakang Company, Ding Lijuan from the Finance Department, and Wu Zhongkai from the Quality Inspection Department).
At the end of the event, the Chairman of the Board delivered a concluding speech. He first affirmed the performance of the contestants. Everyone had made meticulous preparations with great care, effort, and passion, expressing their voices from different angles and aspects and interpreting labor in their own ways. He emphasized the need to actively respond to the changes in the international market, boost work morale, stimulate work enthusiasm, and enhance the mental state.
