2025.07.08

On the afternoon of July 7, GGOG Group held its First Half 2025 Work Summary and Second Half Work Kick-off Meeting in the 12th-floor conference room of the Marine Science and Technology Building. All management, administrative support, and key personnel of the Group attended the meeting.

The meeting commenced with all participants reviewing the video commemorating the "Celebration of July 1st" activities. The vibrant spirit and pioneering, dedicated demeanor of the GGOG team showcased in the footage once again ignited enthusiasm in the venue.

During the meeting, the group's leadership team successively delivered work reports on the first half of the year, comprehensively reviewing past performance and identifying directions for subsequent work.

In his speech, Group Chairman Wu Shipeng first conveyed and studied the spirit of the 6th Meeting of the Central Financial and Economic Commission, focusing on putting forward work requirements for implementing the central government's proposal of "promoting the high-quality development of the marine economy". At the same time, he summarized the work of the first half of the year and deployed the work tasks for the second half. He pointed out that facing the complex and volatile market environment, all GGOG people have delivered an impressive performance with the responsibility of "facing squarely, responding proactively, making bold breakthroughs, and taking initiative" — the entire industrial chain continued to expand, core business advantages became more pronounced, development quality and efficiency steadily upgraded, global layout advanced solidly, and overall work achievements were significant.

Looking ahead to the second half of the year, Chairman Wu Shipeng clearly stated the need to adhere to the operational guideline of "strengthening the core business, upgrading professionalism, expanding the industry, and invigorating through technology." He emphasized focused efforts on five core tasks to enhance "five levels": enhancing the production and sales level of the flagship seaweed gum products; elevating the seaweed capsule project level; improving the overall level of the seaweed oligosaccharide project; raising the comprehensive utilization level of modern marine service projects; and advancing the development level of modern marine fisheries involving north-south relay and land-sea coordination.

He emphasized that all staff must maintain strategic resolve and development confidence, use quality to solidify the market foundation, leverage management to enhance operational efficiency, and, crucially, rely on technological innovation to bolster new quality productive forces. He urged everyone to go all out to achieve the annual targets and tasks for 2025, ensuring a successful conclusion.
